Hi! I’m Wendy. Nice to virtually meet you! A little bit about me – my husband and I have been married since 2011 and we have 3 kids – a tween girl (my step-daughter) and our fraternal twin boys, born in the summer of 2014.
I have a Ph.D. in Geology and study earthquakes for a living but my blogging life never talks about that. It seems like all I ever talk about on the internet is babies – trying to conceive them, carry them, birth them, raise them, feed them, comfort them, manage them and keep them alive in general – and when you have two babies at the same time all of those things are more than twice as hard. So, that’s what I’m writing about here. I have managed to keep my little guys alive thus far and I’d like you to benefit from my hard earned experience! I’d also like to hear your tips and tricks because I’m managing this monkey circus by the seat of my pants (on those days when I manage to put on pants at all).
As far as writing goes – I’ve published a few things here and there in mothering mags (most recently in Twins magazine) and I’m finishing up a book based on my experience with the conception, gestation and delivery of my boys. The tentative title is “Baby Junkie”. I’ll let you know when it’s released.
